Could you talk a bit more about the interesting patterns in figure 1? Is it really the case that women and men were judged most equal in competence, intelligence, communion and agency in the 1950s, but judgements have diverged since then with, in the most recent polls, women judged as more intelligent, competent and community oriented by 75% of poll respondents or more? And are seen as having less agency in recent polls than in the 50s? The regression results suggest that these are reliable trends over time.
