Yes. It’s rare and unregulated. People are profiting off of women’s back and when I say people I mean other women. I am in Saudi, that’s what my friends told me.
Many Saudi women have comfortable and enjoyable lives. What you label oppressive is not oppressive to Saudis. I am a white French Muslim woman and I live in Saudi. I teach in a university and know a wide range of Saudi women. They do not believe they are oppressed. I myself quite enjoy how I am treated here and the people are lovely. I have zero plan on going back to Europe.
