It would be interesting to look at the motivations and actions of American Christian Nationalists, (see project 2025) because they appear to be taking a leaf from the Islamists as far as trashing the secular public education system and replacing it with Christian madrassas.

Globalization is a two way street. Everyone learns from each other.

The ruling class prefers the model of private family-owned rentier states found in the Gulf monarchies [Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Kuwait] for a very simple reason: the rich pay absolutely no taxes and can accumulate unlimited wealth.

At the same time the actual producers of Gulf wealth have absolutely no rights even of citizenship. Organisations of any sort representing them are strictly illegal, the citizen bosses can hire and fire them (meaning they must return to home nations providing virtually no job opportunities) with virtually no restrictions, and they cannot travel without permission from their sponsors. The proportion of non-state sector “workers” who are citizens varies from less than 2 percent (mostly actually corporate bosses) in Qatar to something like 35 percent in Saudi Arabia and the less wealthy Omani monarchy. Christopher Allen Culver noted in his 2017 ‘Remittances and Autocratic Regimes Stability’ how purchase of workers from labour-rich nations in Africa and Asia eliminates the possibility of external threats to the Gulf monarchies, because remittances — enforced private charity — sent home prevent labour-exporting nations using their abundant labour to increase the economic and political power of their lower classes via trade and create radical democracies that reject entirely the philosophy of the Gulf rulers.

Both citizens and expatriates in the Gulf learn that their religious monarchies, and the hugely oppressive social systems they create and support are divinely ordained. Any system that would suggest that these unjust systems are the result of evolution and can be changed without challenging divine law are forbidden.

The US ruling class aims to create exactly this system — only Christian. It has gone a very considerable way towards doing so already, but will not be satisfied unless they can completely match its petromonarchy models for freedom to accumulate wealth and absence of rights for the actual wealth creators (workers).
