Materialism
“When I moved to study in Singapore, we learnt the Five Cs: cash, car, credit card, condominium, country club. There’s social engineering to promote materialism” remarked my Indian friend. I stared back, wide-eyed in astonishment. She had just given me the whackiest - but empirically testable - idea for greater gender equality.
