An awesome study just out in Nature may rock your priors! Iron Age Britain included a number of female-centric societies, as described by the Romans! Lara Cassidy and colleagues analysed 57 burials in Dorset, where they uncovered evidence of a matrilocal society - where men moved to live with their wives!!
